Hello, My name is Ted Spittal (Click
Here for my Curriculum Vitae), and I am a proud member
of VHS class of 1984 (the 25th graduating class of VHS I believe),
where I played 4 sports, spent many semesters on the honor
roll and was the Homecoming King (yes, I am still that good
looking). Unfortunately, high school has also served as my
most successful years <alas>, and with this website
I am desperately trying to extend my 15 minutes of localized
fame.
SITE BACKGROUND After seeing Peter Ricci's ('87), and Mike Doliani's ('84)
web sites, I thought what a neat idea to develop a site, which
not only maintains a database of Alumni contact information,
but WHICH IS also a resource of current and odd events surrounding
VHS and the town of Vicenza. Actually, Jamison Anson Chochrek
('89) suggested I start a VHS site several years ago after
putting him in touch with a couple of his former classmates.
Since its inception, this alumni site has grown from 20-30
e-mails to a 900+ member 'Web-Zine'.
I welcome all suggestions and any help alumni want to offer.
I try to implement every 'doable' suggestion. Your suggestions
have brought about pages like ASK
BART, the Faculty
Page, and unfortunately the VHS
Memorials Page.
MY INFO
I lived in Ponte di Nanto, a town about 10 mile from Vicenza,
from 1977 until 1984, with my father, SETAF's Civilian Personnel
Director, my mother, Manager of the Military Clothing Sales
Store (MCSS), my sister Tammy (class of 1982), brother Marcos
(a class of 1987 wannabe) and my cousin Dierdre, who lived
with us for four years and graduated in 1981.
Since 1993, I have owned and operated BigHeadIS
a business consulting firm located in Dumfries Virginia.
